发改委中国进口转基因只允许用于饲料加工

        据中国发改委10月30日表示，中国将只允许进口11种转基因玉米，转基因玉米只允许用于饲料加工，并全封闭运行。目前全球转基因玉米品种超过了20种。
        政府官员表示，进口玉米不仅要通过农业和检验检疫部门严格的审查和检验，还要在检验检疫部门的全程监管下进行储存、运输和定点加工，加工剩余的下脚料都要进行销毁处理，并严格禁止原粮在市场上流通。
        政府官员指出，转基因本身就是一个热点话题，不仅国内关注，国际社会对此也有很多讨论。此次中国进口引起广泛关注的主要原因是前些年中国很少进口玉米，今年是我国入世以后第一次大宗进口。
        截止到9月，中国将从美国进口约100万吨玉米，缓解国内供应短缺局面。
